AEB is a symbol of technology applied to electronics for LPG/CNG systems
Since 1984 we put electronics in the service of environment to reduce emission and consumption of vehicles. We pursue this aim with passion and determination through a constant Research and Development activity that implements state-of-the -art technological solutions.
Our products, the most complete range of electronic devices for converting vehicles to natural gas/LPG, are completely designed and produced in Italy and meet the highest and most demanding quality standards of the automotive industry.

Since 2005 AEB has a subsidiary company in South America to monitor and assist the Latin American market, it derives logistical/industrial advantages from locally manufacturing part of the range of electronic devices for converting cars to LPG and natural gas: AEB America.

Certificate quality
Our high quality standards have been rewarded with UNI EN ISO 9001 certificate since 1996. the natural follow up to this process has been the achievement of VISION 2000 in 2002. Since 2011 the AEB quality management system complies with the strict requirements of ISO TS 16949, an utmost standard for the automotive sector.
Our primary and guiding target is the complete satisfaction of our customer: the whole company operations aim to constant improvement of quality of products and services to thrive in reliability, performance and efficiency. AEB Alternative Fuel Electronics controls and verifies all the production processes: 100% of products that leave our plant undergo a functional test and we perform random controls on the finished products.
Moreover, the implementation of the most modern production processes granted us the chance to reduce the manufacturing defectiveness to a level that borders on zero.

History
1984
Vincenzo Baroni and Ivan Paterlini establish AEB: the company is located in Cavriago (Reggio Emilia – Italy) in a 400sqm building. Its name is the Italian acronym of Electronic Dual-Purpose Ignition. AEB invents the first Timing Advance Processor, the device that will revolutionize the use of alternative fuels in the automotive market.
1986
AEB develops the switch with built-in safety car. AEB has a staff of 10 people: this number will grow steadily up to 240 employees (year 2008)
1991
AEB designs and produces the first feed-back system for controlling of polluting emissions
1995
AEB releases the first cut-injector emulator independent form control of the injectors’ polarity
1996
AEB obtains UNI EN ISO 9001 certificate. This is an important target which officially acknowledges and guarantees the Quality not only of AEB products rather also of all its manufacturing process, technical support and commercial structure
1997
The manufacturing plant is enlarged: AEB produces a complete range of electronic devices for the conversion of vehicles from petrol to LPG/CNG and exports in 40 countries all over the world.
1998
AEB launches an electronic control unit for managing a gas injection system running on LPG
2000
AEB develops the first emulators for advanced diagnostic systems OBDII and presents a sequential injection system for LPG/CNG
2004
A new range of AEB reprogrammable timing advance processors hits the market
2006
Development of a sequential system for direct injection engines. Moreover the market welcomes a new AEB sequential injection system with integrated T.A.P. and another sequential system with new calibration through OBDII parameters detection
2009
The company celebrates its 25th year of activity and launches the first “universal” programmable timing advance processors.
2010
AEB joins the Landi Renzo group, a worldwide leader in the LPG/CNG conversion system market. Immediately afterwards AEB receives the ISO TS quality certificate, one of the highest standards for the automotive sector
2013
AEB celebrates its 30th year of activity and enlarges its range of control units for direct injection vehicles
